Campus service schedule
We need Episcopal students to tutor inner-city children. Please see Ms. Van Cleve-Miller if you have any questions or want to help other students. We need volunteers every day after school.
All volunteers meet by 3:15 PM in the Towers House and return to EHS by 5:00 PM (except Horse Sense and Sensitivity). Students can reserve spots in advance by signing the log book on Ms. Blow's desk.
We also need volunteers for the following efforts:
- Monday: tutor at The Bridge of Northeast Florida in Springfield with Ms. Jimenez.
- Tuesday: visit Mt. Carmel Gardens retirement residence with Ms. Quant (first semester) and Mr. McCown (second semester.).
- Tuesday: help with therapeutic horseback riding at Horse Sense and Sensitivity with Ms. Mitchell and Ms. Van Cleve-Miller.
- Wednesday: tutor at St. Mary's downtown with Ms. Vincenty (check the community-service log book for dates).
- Wednesday: play games with emotionally disturbed youth at daniel, Inc. with Ms. McCoy (first semester).
- Thursday: tutor at The Sanctuary of Northeast Florida with Mr. Brozowski (first semester) and Ms. Cooper (second semester).
- Friday: play outdoor games with the girls and boys at Girls, Inc. with Ms. Pauly (first semester).
