- Adherents.com is a growing collection of over 41,000 adherent statistics and religious geography citations. See where different faiths are practiced and who is part of their populations throughout the world.
- Buddhism: DharmaNet International - links to their newsstand, bulletin boards, and related sites.
- Catholic Online - this site call itself "the world's largest and most comprehensive Roman Catholic information service". It offers research materials, forums, and information about organizations, dioceses & archdioceses, doctrines, and publications. There are many links, including ones to Spanish-language sites.
- A Comparative Analysis of the Major World Religions from a Christian Perspective
- International Research Institute for Zen Buddhism - this is the largest searchable collection of Zen Buddhist primary-text materials on the Internet. It also has a database of Zen centers in the U.S. and abroad.
- Islam is one of the fastest-growing religions today. This site, maintained by Islamic scholars and educators, tries to present an unbiased overview of the faith.
- Islam's Home Page - maintained by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Students' Organization at the University of Texas at Austin, this site has an English translation of the Qu'ran, prayers, and articles on Islamic issues such as the status of women and the role of Jesus in Islam.
