Alumni Night at the Ballpark
 
We hope all of our alumni families will join us at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville on July 12, 2008, for the fourth annual Alumni Night at the Ballpark. Tickets are $16.95 per person, and include all you can eat and drink before the game plus a reserved seat to watch the Suns take on the Mississippi Braves. Admission for children under four is free. Please contact the alumni office to RSVP.
 
Alumni Homecoming- Save the Date!
Homecoming 2008 has been set for October 10, 2008. We hope you will mark your calendars! This is a free event for our alumni and their families, so we hope to see everyone there. See pictures from past Homecomings by clicking here.

Career Day 2008
The Alumni Association's annual Career Day was well received by the Class of 2008. The senior class attended three panel discussions with the alumni speakers, which included informative question-and-answer sessions. The Alumni Association greatly appreciates the 16 speakers who participated in Career Day. To see photos from this event, please click here.
 
Reunion Weekend 2008cadillac
Reunion Weekend 2008 was the highest-attended Reunion Weekend ever. Friday night's all-class Signature Event included alumni from all classes as well as almost 30 current and past faculty and staff. Saturday's individual class parties on the main campus saw over 200 alumni come back to Episcopal to join their classmates. Be sure to mark your calendars for the last weekend in April (24-26) for Reunion Weekend 2009. To see photos from this year's event, click here.

Welcome, new Alumni Board members
The Alumni Board would like to recognize its new members for the 2008-09 school year: Bruce Jackson '79, Arnold Tritt '81, Elizabeth Drew Van Cleve '83, Eric Kolar '84, Harold Tool '84, Sunny Turner Hartigan '88, Molly Helms Pina '88, Todd Ogletree '88, Meghan Lynch Niemczyk '89, Libby Rider '91, Chris Townsend '98 and William Magevney '00. 
 
Episcopal Fund
The Alumni Association has raised over $107,000 towards the 2007-08 Episcopal Fund. The campaign does not end until June 30, so if you haven't given yet, there is still time. For your convenience, you may donate online by clicking here.

Community Service

The Episcopal High School Dreams Come True Club raised $3000 to send Emilie Cox and her family on a week-long vacation to Walt Disney World. Emilie, who has spina bifida and is confined to a wheelchair, was also treated to a Disney princess-themed party complete with a Cinderella castle cake.

 
Academics 
Congratulations to Tess Peterson '08 and Nathan Monroe '09, who both won first-place medals at the International Sustainable World Olympiad held in Houston. Students from 58 countries were represented at the competition.
 
 
 
Fine arts
As a result of our fall play, Still Life with Iris, a bridge was created with Northwestern University in Chicago. Following the conclusion of Iris, alum Kelby Siddons '06 produced the show for Northwestern University's Purple Crayon Players.
 
 
Athletics
The girls track team placed sixth in the state while also receiving the award for the highest GPA of any girls track team in their classification in the state. In addition, the Class of 2008 produced 28 athletes who will continue their sport at the collegiate level. To read more about athletics at Episcopal, click here.
