  • About.com's Homework and Study Tips is a rich reference site with reliable links, knowledgeable content experts, and subject-area gems.
  • AOL@School provides a broad-spectrum solution to general homework queries. Find reference materials, current-events information, great links and research tools from this site. Best for the middle-school student.
  • Discovery School.com for Students provides access to subject-specific links, reference materials, mind-bending activities, and teacher tools. Use the search engine to find this site's rich assortment of help tools and activities.
  • Live Homework Help - An online classroom service designed to assist those from grades 4 to 12, Live Homework Help also provides assistance for those approaching college. Subjects include Math, Social Studies, Science, and English. Tutors are available every day, 2pm to midnight. Lessons and assistance in Spanish are also provided Sunday thru Thursday, 2pm to 10pm. It is necessary to download a small software program in order to use this service.
  • The Math Forum: Ask Dr. Math is a Q&A site exclusively for math problems; it covers a wide range of math topics and provides great links to word problems and practice equations.
