Why Episcopal?

During the past year...

  • Re-enrollment for students able to return was an amazing 98%!
  • Episcopal sent 10 Upper School projects and 20 Middle School projects to the Northeast Florida Regional Science & Engineering Fair. Our students took all six of the Grand Awards and 14 of the 36 State Team spots.
  • The average SAT score for the Class of 2007 was 1221.
  • Over 70% of our seventh graders qualified to participate in TIP, Duke University’s Talent Identification Program.
  • Episcopal students contributed  thousands of hours to various charities and non-profits. In addition, they conducted a student led summer camp for Daniel, Inc. and participated on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic to work with orphans.
  • The Class of 2007 had four National Merit Finalists and seven Commended Scholars  
  • An Episcopal senior was named Outstanding Male Student of the Year by the Exchange Clubs of Jacksonville.
  • Episcopal’s outstanding interscholastic sports teams won numerous district, regional and state titles.
  • Nine students were selected to represent northeast Florida at the International Science Fair, and six of those were Episcopal students.
  • The pass rate for our students on Advanced Placement exams was 83%.
  • Twenty-two Episcopal student-athletes signed to play in various colleges and universities.
  • Episcopal Visual Arts students captured three Juror’s Choice Awards and one Administrator’s Award at the Duval County Senior High Art Exhibit.
  • Episcopal students took first place awards in the areas of AP Biology, first year Chemistry and Physics at the Jacksonville University Science, Math and Engineering Competition.
  • Episcopal awarded over $1,000,000 of need-based financial aid to deserving students.
