Winter Athletics

As the winter season comes to a close, and many of our athletes are just beginning spring sports, Episcopal would like to dedicate this week’s Excellence in Athletics honor to the winter teams.

• Soccer - The 2007-2008 varsity boys and girls teams both finished as regional semifinalists. The boys ended with a regular-season record of 16-5-4, and the girls finished with a record of 13-8-1. The Middle School boys were the ISMC champions, with a record of 12-1.
• Basketball - The varsity boys finished their season with an 11-7 record, and lost in the first round of districts. The varsity girls ended their season with a 6-11 record and also lost in the first round of districts.
• Wrestling -The team placed second in the district, and tenth in regional competition. Two wrestlers competed in the state tournament.
