Fall Athletics
As the regular fall athletics season comes to a close, and many of our teams continue in post-season competition, Episcopal would like to dedicate this week’s Excellence in Athletics honor to the fall teams.
- Football - The 2007 team is the district champion, with a regular-season record of 7-3. The Eagles post-season ended at the regional semifinals, with a loss to Ocala Trinity Catholic.
- Volleyball - The Lady Eagles are regional champions with a record of 24-7, earning them a spot in the state final four. Episcopal lost to Fort Lauderdale Pine Crest in the state semifinal game.
- Cross Country -The girls team won their third consecutive state championship, and the boys went on to finish 16th.
- Swimming - The girls team finished 2nd in the region, and the boys 3rd. Both went on to compete in the state meet, with the boys finishing 13th, and the girls 21st.
- Golf - Both golf teams finished strong, with the girls taking 2nd in the district, and the boys taking 5th.
