Charles Chang

Charles Chang ’08 may be new to weightlifting, but he has proven his weight on the team. As a rookie, Charles was able to overcome substantial obstacles he faced at the beginning of the season and become a top point-scorer on the varsity weightlifting team. He also advanced to the sectional championships. In his last meet of the season, Charles officially cleaned the heaviest weight ever in a varsity competition at 310 lbs. Coach Reynolds says of him, “Charles is extremely passionate and hard-working. He has been a true pleasure to coach.”
