Norm Wein
Head Coach
Coach Wein's coaching career began in 1974 as assistant coach at Lincoln High School in Lincoln Park, Michigan. He then became head wrestling coach and assistant football coach at Wyandotte Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, Michagin from 1979 - 1982. In 1983 he moved to South Fork High School in Stuart, Florida where he coached wrestling and football until 1986. Coach Wein has been a wrestling and football coach at Episcopal since 1986, and has even served as athletic director at Episcopal. He helped the Eagle wrestlers to earn two district team titles and was the head wrestling coach for the 1990-1991 team which set and held the national record for seven years.

Lew Ritter
Head Coach
Lew Ritter has been coaching the sport of wrestling for over 26 years. His coaching career started in Ohio at Piqua High School, where he coached varsity for three years before moving to Columbus and coaching at the varsity level at Centennial High School. He has been a varsity coach at Episcopal High School for 18 years, during which time he led his team to two district titles in the past two years, and has placed teams and individuals in the top 10 in the state almost every year. He has also coached state medalists, national team members and has produced All-American wrestlers.

Mike Rickey
Middle School Head Coach
Middle School Football Head Coach
Middle School Softball Head Coach
Coach Mike Rickey has been coaching at Episcopal for 12 years, and is a two-time winner of the John Ryan Excellence in Coaching Award at Episcopal. Rickey has coached softball for seven years within a recreational and travel ball setting, and has led his team to a state championship as well as to a third-place finish in the southeast regional tournament. Coach Rickey feels that players should be fundamentally sound in order to be successful. He expects his players to give 110% at all practices and games, and expects his players to go above and beyond what is asked to improve their game.

Randy Towers '78
Assistant Coach
Coach Randy Towers has been coaching at Episcopal since 2000. In addition, he was a trainer at Episcopal from 1989-2000. A member of the class of ’78, Towers was a varsity wrestler from 1974-78. Upon graduation, he continued his wrestling career at Emory University, where he received his Bachelors of Arts in 1983. Towers received the John Ryan Excellence in Coaching Award in 2004. He contributes many philosophies to his team, including success is equal to longevity, character counts, excellence in academics, positive attitude, and the daily practice of good values, ethics & habits.
