About Boosters
The Episcopal Athletic Boosters is the umbrella volunteer organization of parents and friends dedicated to supporting our Episcopal student-athletes. Our mission is to enhance Eagle athletics in three major areas:
- We promote the involvement of parents and the entire Episcopal family in support of our teams, coaches and student-athletes. Building a strong community of united parents is invaluable for our students and their families, as well as for the School. This incredible community is built on actively involved parent volunteers, who support thier student-athlete's team by working on a committee or Booster-sponsored event.
- We recognize athletes through programs such as the senior athletic banquet, which honors all seniors who participated on an Episcopal team while in Upper School. Boosters also works to promote wider recognition of the dedication and achievements of our outstanding Episcopal student-athletes. In 2006, Boosters developed two new annual awards: the "JT Townsend Tenacity Award" and the "Coaching Excellence Award."
- We raise money through memberships and photograph sales and support concessions that will be used to fund $63,349 this school year. In the last couple of years, Boosters has worked to replace the "wish-list" funding program with the highly efficient and fair membership-based club account funding (as outlined in the budget).
In the past couple of years, Boosters also has made great strides for Episcopal athletics by redesigning the executive board roles and responsibilities, creating team parent guidelines, redesigning its membership mailer and hiring a professional photographer to attend competitions. We hope that, after learning more about Boosters, you will join us in our efforts to make the Episcopal athletic experience memorable and exciting for our student-athletes and their families. With over 70% of Episcopal students participating in one of more than fifty teams in 15 sports, we're looking forward to an exciting year.

A Boosters membership entitles you to our "Sports Pass," allowing you and your family free admission to all regular-season home events.
