Alumni Involved in Haitian Relief Efforts

Carol Fipp ’79, Ellen Lovejoy ’88, and Dr. John Lovejoy III ’87, along with Dr. John Lovejoy, Jr., are working in conjunction with the Center for the Rural Development of Milot (CRUDEM) Foundation at the Hopital Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart Hospital). All have been working tirelessly around the clock since the devastating earthquake shook Haiti late last week. Carol is working as a coordinator for the doctors and nurses at the hospital, which is currently the only fully operational hospital with running water in Haiti. While the hospital has been slow to receive patients because of collapsed infrastructure and lack of helicopters in the area, there has been a steady increase of incoming patients awaiting treatment. Episcopal vs. Bolles Comcast's Game of the Week

Friday's football match-up between Episcopal and Bolles will be featured on Comcast channel 7 on Monday, November 2, at 5:00 p.m. Additional air times are listed below. In order to prepare for Bolles' field--a turf field--the team has been practicing on the Jaguars' practice field this week. The Eagles have not taken on Bolles in varsity football since the 1984 season, and both teams are undefeated in the district. Anyone attending the game is asked to wear a white shirt in support of Episcopal's "white out."

Episcopal Mourns the Loss of a Founder

It is with great sadness that the School shares the news of the death of one of its principal founders, The Reverend Dr. Robert R. Parks. Dr. Parks died while attending church services on Sunday morning, October 18. His wife Nancy was with him. (story continues)
